Dorfman Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hosts Annual New Venture Fair

Last week our Dorfman Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship hosted its Annual New Venture Fair, attended by hundreds of visitors from the community. A total of FIVE DOZEN teams from middle schools, high schools, as well as our own undergraduate and graduate programs presented their innovative startup ideas, MVPs, side hustles, and - in some cases - fledgling companies. The teams took away thousands of dollars in prize money, and it was the first time that we saw a company win in four different categories. We also honored the six students who - thanks to a generous donation by Dave and Dawn Gross - will be traveling to the European Innovation Academy in Porto, Portugal, this summer. A big shoutout goes to Mike Panesis, Desserin Pereyra, and Kristin Bell (who is currently on maternity leave but left us with an impeccable blueprint) who made the NVF once again a huge success (see photo gallery further below).
