Honored faculty with awards for outstanding achievements
At the School of Management Faculty and Staff Retreat in August, the university honored three of our faculty members with the 2021 School of Management Advisory Council Faculty Awards for Outstanding Achievements. These awards were created by our School of Management Advisory Council in 2014, in order to highlight the hard work and many contributions of our faculty members. This year's recipients were Jamshid Damooei (Director, Undergraduate Economics and Executive Director, Center for Economics of Social Issues) for Research, Bruce Gillies (Director, Sports Management) for Teaching, and Valeria Makarova (Director, Teaching Effectiveness).
