Russ and Linda Young Scholarship Recipients Announced
On March 7, this year's recipients of the Russ and Linda Young Scholarship met with the generous donor, Russ Young, himself a School of Management alumnus. Russ had a few life lessons to share with the recipients who shared their own motivations for being in our MBA program and their future career goals. Scholarship recipients are Isabel Cortez (MBA-Human Capital Management) who is currently working at the Navy, keeping airmen healthy and safe, but aspires to a career in higher education, Evelyn Herrera (MBA-Entrepreneurship) -who wants to start her own successful business, and Blake Wink (MBA-General) currently also a baseball player at Cal Lutheran who is looking to build a career in Commercial Real Estate or Finance. Congratulations to all of them, and much gratitude to our donors Russ and Linda Young.
