Elaine Salewske, from Takeda, joined the School of Management Advisory Council
A new member has joined the School of Management Advisory Council, Elaine Salewske. Elaine is a Director within global pharmaceutical company Takeda’s Sustainability Integration team where she focuses on corporate sustainability strategy, ESG reporting and disclosure. She joined Takeda as part of the company’s acquisition of Shire in January 2019. Prior to Shire, Elaine established and led the Sustainability program for Baxalta, a new company that was founded after Baxter International spun off its biopharmaceutical division. Elaine spent nearly 10 years leading sustainability-related communications at Baxter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communication from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Her presence on the Advisory Council will help shape the future success of our degree programs. Welcome, Elaine!
