Improved Discovery Interface

This summer, our catalog and discovery system, Discovery Search Tool, powered by WorldCat Discovery, got a "modernized" look along with some new features!

• Modernized and streamlined: The discovery interface has an updated color scheme that features CLU's color branding.
• Redesigned results: Search results have a new layout with more information displayed. Individual item records provide more easy to find details. 
• Highlighted search terms: Search terms are highlighted in yellow in both the search results page and in item records. This allows you to determine whether results are relevant and help to take a quick scan of the results.
• “Access Options” Box: When you click on an item record, a new box will appear on the right hand side to show you how you can access the item. It will show if an item is available online, at the Library, or not available at the Library. If an item is not available from our Library, you will see a “Request from another library” button which will take you to our Interlibrary Loan form to request it from another library. 
• “Access Online” Options: If an item has multiple access options, a separate box will open after you click on the “Access Online” button. This will allow you to select from the link that you want to use.
