Release the Stress Before the Test - Monday
Do you practice mindfulness, or incorporate meditation or breathing exercises into your daily routine? Taking time to disconnect from your studies and reconnect with your body is good for your health and good for your soul! There are many resources and apps available to guide you along the way.
Insight Timer is a free app that offers lots of guided meditations and even offers playlists! It also gives access to free yoga classes, sleep tracks, and live events with meditation and wellness experts.
CALM is an app that can help with stress, anxiety, and even sleep. The free version has a lot of content, and some insurance companies (for example, Kaiser) gives access to the full app for free!
myStrength is another app that has a free version, or you might be able to access it through your healthcare provider. It provides support for managing depression, anxiety, stress, sleep and even offers an online community.
There are many other apps available. And (if you want a little advice from the library), learn some techniques and then put away your device. Sit quietly in your room, outside, or any other comfortable and comforting space (even the libary!) and spend some time breathing or practicing another sort of mindful exercise or meditation.
