Not Forgotten: Ukraine's Struggles and Stories of Perseverance

While the Russo-Ukrainian War began in 2014, escalation in 2022 brought the conflict to the global stage. As February marks three years of heightened warfare, the Cal Lutheran community and guests are invited to join us for a global forum presentation offering insights into the history of the war, lived-experience of the conflict, and humanitarian aid efforts.

Speakers include Dr. Hebert Gooch, CLU Professor of Political Science, Emeritus, Ms. Olha Isaieva, CLU Alumna from the Graduate School of Education ('24) who is from the Ukraine, and Mr. Dave Nonnemacher, humanitarian aid worker providing frontline resources in the Ukraine.
