Daisy Calderon Arredondo '25

Fall 2024 is Daisy’s first semester working as a Communication Department Assistant. She transferred to Cal Lutheran in Fall 2023 and studied abroad at the University of Westminster in London during her Spring semester. This fall she’ll be an intern for NBC Universal in their Telemundo office. Daisy is excited to be more involved on campus this semester and looks forward to meeting lots of new people!
Olivia Madera '25
Fall 2024 is Olivia’s first year as a Communication Department Assistant. She has taken three faculty-led travel seminars with Cal Lutheran to Greece, Italy, and Argentina. She has worked with The Echo on various positions and is also a panelist for iHeartRadio’s Studio 640 podcast. Olivia is excited to be more involved on campus and further her communication skills by meeting new people!
Emma Paholski '26
Fall 2024 is Emma’s first semester as a Communication Department Assistant. Emma is a junior who has attended Cal Lutheran for the entirety of her college career thus far. After classes, Emma enjoys hiking to the cross to walk and talk with friends. While in this DA position, Emma looks forward to meeting new people and growing her relationships with students and professors alike.

Fall 2024 is Jaleesa’s first year as a Communication Department Assistant. Jaleesa is a junior that has been attending all three years thus far and commutes from Oxnard. She is also a third year member of the Regals softball program. When not working or at school she enjoys binge watching shows and movies, staying active, and going on spontaneous adventures. Jaleesa is excited to get to know more people and be more involved here at Cal Lutheran!
Liam Flenniken '27
Fall 2024 is Liam's first semester working as a Communication Department Assistant. He loves spending time with friends and loves meeting new people. When out of the office you can usually find him in Starbucks or the Student Union. Liam is so excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to see where it takes him!
