Process
The Academic Programs Workgroup focuses on Identifying four academic programs that may be a differentiator for Cal Lutheran. This can be a standalone program or a program that can be integrated or enhanced. These programs/areas will contribute to a long-term, unique positioning of the university that supports its medium-term growth goal of 5,000 students (including undergraduate and graduate).
The results of the Task Force will feed into the parallel Strategic Planning Process, where final decisions will be made. You can access the current academic program offerings here.
The workgroup continues to engage in the review of relevant monographs, articles, white papers and studies, research and analysis of competitive and aspirational programs, and will be seeking inputs from external stakeholders. The workgroup will also engage in research and analysis of environmental scans to support their recommendations.
