For current CLU students, contact CAPS: If you are experiencing a personal crisis, reach out to the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for support. They can provide guidance and connect you with necessary resources.

Immediately report the loss to local police and file a report.
If outside the U.S., reach out to your embassy for further guidance.
Maintaining Your Legal Status During Emergencies
Address, Travel Plans, or Personal Situation: Notify the OISS promptly about any significant changes to your personal information, including your
address or travel plans.
If you need to travel abroad during an emergency, follow these steps to ensure that
you maintain your visa status:
Make sure all required documents (visa, passport, I-20, etc.) are up-to-date before
traveling.
Upload your most current immigration documents to your OISS Student Portal by submitting the ‘Upload Updated Document(s)’ online form.
If your visa or immigration status is at risk, seek advice from the OISS or the SEVP Response Center.

Monitor Local News: Stay up-to-date with local news channels, the University website, and social media for emergency
alerts and important information.
