Letters of Recommendation
If you are Pre-Med or Pre-Dental and want to be considered for a committee letter and have Career Services upload your letters of recommendation, you can utilize our free placement file service. Letter writers will need to deliver their letters directly to Career Services.
How to Set Up a Placement File
1. Complete the appropriate Applicant Summary Form listed below:
Medical School
Dental School
2. Give a copy of the Applicant Summary Form to each of your letter writers.
3. Email Cynthia Smith at csmith@CalLutheran.edu to request your placement file.
4. Ask your letter writers to send their letters to Career Services and that the letters:
- come into to Career Services confidentially
- be on letterhead
- have an original signature
- begin with a salutation that reads Dear Admissions Committee
