First-year Student Experience Survey Data

Beginning in 2022 and continuing each semester afterward, we have conducted an optional survey via MyCLU with first-year students. Data for both fall and spring semesters are presented in the charts below. 

Fall Survey

This survey is made available to all registered students in the first-year class, during a one-week survey period in fall semester of their first year. 

Question 1: How is your Cal Lutheran experience so far?

On a scale of 1-10, with 1 representing "Terrible" and 10 representing "Amazing", the median response was 7.8.


Question 2: Is there anything that could make your Cal Lutheran experience better?

The number of comments per feedback category is summarized below.

Spring Survey

This survey is made available to all registered first-year students, during a one-week survey period in spring semester of their first year.
Question 1 is identical to the fall survey, whereas Question 2 is unique to each year's spring survey.
