Hewlett Grant
As part of the ongoing process of faculty professional development at Cal Lutheran, the Faculty Affairs and Development Committee has access to limited funding to encourage professional growth, thanks to the Hewlett Foundation Endowment. Funds of up to $1250 at professional conferences or small research projects are available. For grant criteria and other information, visit the Hewlett Grant page.
2013-2014 Faculty Development Mini-Grant Application
The President’s Diversity Council is accepting applications for faculty mini-grants of up to $1,000 for professional development projects, faculty-sponsored programs, and departmental projects. The purpose of each mini-grant is to enhance the understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism, diversity and/or global society at California Lutheran University. Examples of faculty development are curricular enhancement (e.g., civic engagement, pedagogy, course development, etc.) and professional development (e.g., research-related materials, research assistants, conferences, etc.).
