A Sneak Peek at the State of the Region Report
- Nonprofit Sector -
Join us for a sneak peek of the Ventura County Civic Alliance 2017 State of the Region Report's indicators about nonprofits and nonprofit revenues in Ventura County.
The State of the Region report is an important community resource published every two years and includes analysis of philanthropic trends in the region. While the full study will not be released until May 2017, join us at the Nonprofit Leadership Council for a preview of this important section of the report!
The data presentation will be followed by a moderated, response panel of local nonprofit, civic and philanthropic leaders who will help make meaning of what is presented. If you care deeply about our region’s nonprofit sector and strive to build philanthropy in our County, this Nonprofit Leadership Council is one you won’t want to miss!

ABOUT THE COUNCIL
The Ventura County Nonprofit Leadership Council is a collective of thought-leaders that seeks to advance philanthropy and build stronger nonprofit leaders serving our region.
Each year, the Council offers a series of five topic-driven convenings that serve as a forum for both seasoned and emerging nonprofit leaders to network with colleagues and peers, deepen understanding of important sector issues and develop a shared voice to advocate for the sector.
Stewarded by a dedicated volunteer steering committee, the Council itself is a point of convergence for the sector and affords a unique opportunity for leaders across the county to gather, explore collaborative relationships, and build their own professional development networks.
Convenings are held every other month, September – May, with a focus on cutting edge topics effecting leaders in the field. Each meeting is chaired by a local nonprofit leader with panel discussions and content experts facilitating meaningful dialogue. Individuals can participate in the Council and attend all five sessions by becoming a member for $75 or by attending individual sessions for $25 each.
