Have you been admitted to Cal Lutheran? Congrats! Admitted Student Day is the ultimate opportunity for you to visit campus and create a customized experience to help you discover Cal Lutheran.


What to expect:

Admitted Student Day is a one-day event that will provide you all the information you will need as an incoming Cal Lutheran student!

You get to choose among an array of session topics to attend that meet your interests. After that, head on over to the Academic and Involvement Fairs where you can personally interact with current students, faculty, and staff, and ask them questions about our academic programs and student life at Cal Lutheran.

Empezaremos la sesión con la Doctora LaVerne Seales del departamento de Lenguajes y Culturas, seguida por una presentación conducida por la Doctora Lorena Muñoz, sobre el departamento de Estudios Globales. Después, diferentes colaboradores del campus incluyendo oficinas de: Servicios de Apoyo al Estudiante, Compromiso Cultural e Inclusión, y el grupo estudiantil, la Organización de Estudiantes Latinoamericanos (LASO). Ellos estarán listos para ayudarlos a conocer más sobre Cal Lutheran. Durante este tiempo, podrán hacer preguntas de la Universidad o de los diferente departamentos que estarán presente durante la sesión. Terminaremos con una representante de la Oficina de Ayuda Financiera, Emelyn Hernandez, que dará una presentación sobre información importante de ayuda financiera para estudiantes admitidos..

Open House Sessions & Featured Academic Lectures

Open House sessions are drop in anytime from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Featured Presentations happen at the designated times for 30 minutes each. *Open House Sessions with only one session time are shown below. 

  • Biology Open House: "The Biology open house will introduce the shape of the Cal Lutheran Biology and Biochemistry curriculum, including unique features and opportunities for students to engage in genuine research experiences. Faculty interests and expertise will be provided. Possible career paths of graduates will be discussed."

  • Computer Science Open House: "Dr. Reinhart, Associate Professor of Computer Science, will describe the Computer Science and Computer Information Systems majors, the Computer Science Department resources, and paths (career and graduate school) that students can pursue upon completion or the BS Computer Science or BS Computer Information Systems degrees. And yes, he will answer your questions regarding the possibility of Computer Science/Computer Information Systems graduates being replaced with Artificial Intelligence agents."

Come meet our Presidential Host tour guides to learn more about different areas of campus. The campus tour is self-guided, with tour guides stationed at six different areas on campus. Feel free to take the whole tour or simply visit specific stops. You can take the tour in any order and mix in stops with other activities throughout the afternoon. Resident Assistants will meet you at Stops 2 and 5 to tell you about living on campus and to show you the Residence Halls.

We will have staff available during the involvement fair as well as a drop-in location in Overton Hall. Please know we are working diligently to ensure you are able to maximize your financial aid eligibility for the 25/26 aid year. Feel free to stop by to learn more about other funding resources.

If you will be joining one of our 22 NCAA Division III teams next year, this is the place to be! A panel of current Kingsmen and Regal players and staff will be on hand to talk about the student-athlete experience at Cal Lutheran. Guests can expect to hear about making the transition from high school to college level competition, managing academic workload, pre- and off-season commitments, resources for student-athletes, and more

Living On Campus

Filling out housing contracts, deciding which hall is best for you, and everything that goes into living on campus can be confusing. During this session you will be able to speak with Residence Life professionals about all of your housing needs and questions. We will also talk about living on campus and all of the new and fun experiences you will have!
