• Samuel Claussen – grant from the Southeastern Medieval Association to research violence, religion, and chivalry in medieval Castile.
• Brian Collins – grant from PLATO to support the SoCal Philosophy Institute for local high school students in the summer.
• Jamshid Damooei – contract from the Ventura County Community Foundation to produce the State of the Region Report.
• Matthew Fienup and Dan Hamilton – contracts from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to prepare the 15 Metro-Area Latino GDP Report; from the Latino Donor Collaborative to produce the 2022 U.S. Latino GDP Report; and from the Southern California Association of Governments for on-call regional economic analysis and to produce the 2021 Ventura County Economic Outlook Report.

• Rick Holigrocki – two grants from the City of Thousands Oaks to offset costs of counseling services for residents of Thousand Oaks.
• Dena Jenson – grant from Amgen Foundation for the Board Equity in Governance Initiative housed at the Center for Nonprofit Leadershp.
• Cindy Lewis – grant from Bank of America Charitable Trust for the 4ACause program.
• Cynthia Moe-Lobeda – two grants from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for the Center for Climate, Justice, and Faith, including development of a Spanish-language certificate.
• Adina Nack and Colleen Windham-Hughes – grant from Kaiser Permanente to launch a Public Health minor.
• David Nelson – grant from the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation to fund the 2021-22 Lyceum series titled “Contagion.”
• Silvia Neves – grant from Amgen Foundation for Project ASCENSO to provide fellowships to students studying social justice issues impacting Latinx students, families and communities.
