In this gung-ho action flick "Uprising" we travel to the future to follow the turbulent life of Zrupae from childhood to adulthood when he will unknowingly become the savior of the human race against the upcoming robot uprising. At a very young age Zrupae’s family was murdered in front of him by assassins and he was injured in the process. Due to complications from his injuries, Zrupae’s left arm had to be removed, but it was replaced with the first-ever robotic arm attached to a human. This story reflects the struggle of finding one’s place in life. A struggle that we all must go through.

The suspenseful story "Rolex or Roll Out" is about one night out on the town that turned into a quest to find a Rolex watch. The ultimate goal of the story is to keep the audience intrigued and wanting to know what happens next. Sometimes in life we run into obstacles and we feel like we cannot go any further. In this story, giving up is not an option for Tattoo Man. With his life on the line, he will go to extreme levels in order to find this watch. This presentation will show some of the techniques for building suspense by being alongside Tattoo Man while he faces the hurdles of finding the Rolex Watch. "Rolex or Roll Out" was created with a concept development process in which we took a random collection of pictures and words and produced a story from those ideas.

The presentation shares with the audience the story of John who has been "unknown" to other people for many years. Suffering trauma from his mother's tragic death, John isolates and distances himself from people in his town. However, as time goes by, he finds it hard to ignore his constant desire for friends. From being in conflict between being alone by himself and his desire for friendship he finally decides to go on an adventure to break through his problem. The story then continues and seeks to show how John discovers the truth about himself and the world after a war against his own blindness and closed mind.

In this presentation the intent is to share the creative process which gave my creative concept life. Digging deep into my own dreams I was able to think of my main character Flowerchild. Her story begins in Greece. All Flowerchild wants in life is to be the leader and hero of her Greek village. When catastrophe hits, Flowerchild is ready to take on the responsibility to save her people. With the help of some unforgettable characters Flowerchild comes face to face with Oxford the Witch, the cause of the islands' troubles. Will Flowerchild defeat Oxford? Will her island be saved? Through creative brainstorming and writing exercises Flowerchild's journey and mine became a process that not only brought me personal growth, but a story that truly represents the best of my imagination and intensive creative development.

The purpose of my narrative "Up In The Sky" is to expand on the notion of a faceless government entity colliding with our personal freedoms. The story was not conceived to show how restrictive governments could become, but rather focuses on how laws will cause uprising. Despite the laws forbidding the expression of art and music our characters continue to follow their love for music and quickly become the police's number-one target. Through creative development I was able to take my premise and manufacture an original visual identity for it. I used traditional concept drawing methods and Adobe software to produce my story's visuals.

The project is about two out of sync brothers rescuing a strange musical island from impending volcanic doom. One brother is destitute and obsessed with their damaged reputation and the other is on top of the world with a condescendingly charitable attitude. Their two personalities, related but contrary, are two aspects of pride. When shipwrecked on an unknown island their well-disguised vices show their true colors when a volcanic eruption threatens their lives. The island they are stranded on is also littered with animals that are part musical instrument. These animals can detect the tension between these two brothers and use music to make it distinct, obvious and audible until they harmoniously learn to humbly work together. The story utilizes the art of original score to visual storytelling. The conflicts and resolutions will be mainly emphasized by the accordion birds, piano snakes, and guitar-shelled snails populating the world around them.

What if every day your hair changed colors and didn't know why? Jolae a surf bum from Kopenhagen Germany, sets off to find out why his hair changes colors everyday. With his inner instinct he goes through the rigid mountains of Nambia, rows to the island of Magalagabingdong, and finds himself in a shire to find out what he searched for... The long lost pirate of Magalagabingdong, who gives him the answers about his hair color. Through the process of creative development my tribe and I, made a story full of adventure, randomness, and creativity by putting pictures and cutouts on a wall and spontaneously making up the story as I went.

In this modern love story, the viewer discovers the coping of tragedy throughout a series of events. The viewer lives behind the eyes of a lonely man and his distorted world. This tale takes one on a crazy journey when Locky falls die hard in love with a girl he winds up stalking for six years in fear of ever approaching her. This hobby takes over his life and he lives in this hopeless routine each and every day until his love, Waba, gets in a terrible car accident. Waba, suffering from amnesia, is lost in the world, when Locky decides to share his collection of media with Waba and she finds herself again. Is this gift enough for Waba to appreciate Locky?

Being made fun of in high-school, Teddy decides to take his life to the seas to get away from the small-town life of Shadyville. Years later he decides to return, not because he misses his family, but because he is determined to get back the love of his life. Teddy's journey goes from a romantic chase to a psychedelic disaster quickly in this illustrated narrative. From a simple idea, to a thought provoking story, this project has gone through numerous stages of creative development.
