MBA Requirements
We welcome all students with an undergraduate degree, achieving at least a 3.0 GPA in any field of study from a regionally accredited institution.

Application Checklist

Official transcripts
- The transcripts should be from a regionally accredited college or university. They should include verification of your bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Two letters of recommendation
- The letters should be from academic or professional references.

Personal statement
- Your personal statement should address why you want to obtain a master’s degree from Cal Lutheran. Specify examples of leadership, discuss career goals and provide any other pertinent information that will assist us in selecting persons who can most benefit from and contribute to the graduate program.

No GMAT or GRE scores are required for applicants.
Transcript Information
Official transcripts must be ordered and sent directly to Cal Lutheran via certified e-transcript or mail. E-transcripts are recommended where possible.

MBA Assured Admission
The Cal Lutheran MBA program offers assured admission to:
- Cal Lutheran seniors majoring in business
- Cal Lutheran Professionals students majoring in business
- Cal Lutheran alumni with business degrees
Requirements
- Admission is based on completion or pending completion of a Cal Lutheran business degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA in upper division coursework
- Current graduating seniors will be provisionally admitted pending final degree posting
Application Checklist for Assured Admission
If you apply to the MBA program under assured admission, the application fee and the personal statement are waived. However, you will still need to submit the following materials:
- A completed application
- Interview with an admission counselor
- Two professional letters of recommendation
- Resume
Official transcripts will be reviewed directly by graduate admissions from the Academic Services office.
