AAPI Chapel Hour

Jeung graduated from Stanford University with a BS in human biology and a MA in education. He worked in China and in the San Francisco Mayor's Office before earning a PhD in sociology from UC Berkeley. Jeung started the Stop AAPI Hate project in 2020 as a collaborative effort to highlight COVID-19-related discrimination and provide tracking to develop racism-fighting community resources and policy interventions. In 2016, he published a book entitled At Home in Exile: Finding Jesus Among My Ancestors and Refugee Neighbors in which he provides wisdom and hope for Christians engaging in the major, societal issues of our day: mass displacement and poverty, racism, and persistent inequality.
