Dhruv Pandya is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security governance, risk management, and vulnerability management. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University-Channel Islands and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from G.H. Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pune. Additionally, he has earned a Diploma in Cyber Law via Asian School of Cyber Law and Government Law College, Mumbai.
Throughout his career, Dhruv has held key leadership roles in cybersecurity, currently serving as Director of Information Security at Wistia. He has also previously led security initiatives at J.D. Power, managing risk assessments, compliance programs, and security operations. His expertise spans threat intelligence, data protection, identity and access management, and security architecture.
As a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Dhruv is committed to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world cybersecurity challenges. His research includes network security, penetration testing, and risk assessment strategies, and he has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 honoree by Pacific Coast Business Times.
Dhruv’s teaching approach focuses on practical application, hands-on learning, and fostering critical thinking in cybersecurity. His goal is to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in an evolving digital landscape.
