Incident Reporting System

Dear Cal Lutheran community,

I have been working with a small cross-functional team to implement the new Incident Reporting System. We are very pleased to launch this new system and share more about it with all of you.

The purpose of the Incident Reporting System is to provide a central site for reporting incidents that violate our institutional bias, harassment, and discrimination policies and hinder Cal Lutheran’s commitment to foster a welcoming and safe environment for all members of the university community.

The Incident Response Team will track, review all reports and/or route to the appropriate department(s) for further investigation and resolution. The team will share statistical data to the campus community in an annual report.

The Incident Reporting form and a list of frequently asked questions can be found on the Incident Reporting website.

Aligned with our University mission, the faculty and staff at Cal Lutheran are called and empowered to challenge barriers that limit human potential as we prepare students to lead a life of meaning and purpose in pursuit of socially-just communities.

I want to thank the Incident Response Team for their dedication and commitment to bring this system to fruition.

Cristallea K. Buchanan
Vice President, Talent, Culture and Diversity
