About FAB Students – a profile on FAB student, Victoria Galbraith: Victoria and her husband Jeff live in Edmonds, Washington, located in the Seattle metropolitan area on the shores of Puget Sound. They have lived there for over four decades and love their charming, artistic city. During the pandemic, Victoria was encouraged by a fellow artist to check out the art history classes FAB had online. She enjoyed classes with Katherine Zoraster, Eleanor Schrader, and Christine Maasdam, and she has been a FAB student ever since! Even as a remote student, Victoria appreciates the sense of community in the Fifty and Better program. Victoria enjoys the welcomes from Lisa or Christina at each class/lecture, and she is happy to receive emails about various holidays or communication regarding FAB’s concern for the surrounding community (such as during the recent fires). Fun fact: Victoria retired from her position as a Human Resource Manager and is now an artist, working in mixed media. Victoria and Jeff’s favorite pastimes at this point in their lives are art, travel, reading, and continuing education – all of which help them to be more “in the moment.”
