“Telios has opened many doors that I thought coming into CalLu I would struggle with. Coming from the Bay Area I was weary of not knowing anyone; however, Telios created a positive community of friends that I spend time with regularly. It also introduced me to many opportunities and resources here on campus before the academic year, giving me a head start and a sense of confidence in the path I was taking. For example, ASCLUG, where I now serve as one of the Freshman Reps, and plan on doing so in the following academic year. Furthermore, Telios encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and branch out to different clubs and activities once the year began. Such as Laso, where I plan on running for cabinet in the 24 -25 academic year. Not only did it prepare me to be a leader but it showed me how to be a good leader by utilizing the resources around me and giving back to CalLu. But most importantly balance, college is stressful and comes with many challenges. Telios taught me good work-life balance practices and healthy ways to manage it all.”
