FAB as a Catalyst for Connection and Change

My name is Jason Hensley and I’ve been teaching at FAB now for a little over a year. In the course of that time, I’ve taught about both history and religion––and it’s been quite a ride. FAB is one of my favorite things that I do. It’s very purpose, to increase knowledge because knowledge and learning is essential to the human story and human progress, is empowering and I feel incredibly privileged to be a part of it. While I love so many aspects of FAB, one of my favorites is connecting with the students. Most of my work is on Zoom––but every class I teach, I’ll receive emails from some of the students. I’ve been able to meet with some, have a meal with them, and really get to know them. It’s awesome. These are the kinds of human connections that change the world, and FAB is the catalyst.
