My Unstoppable Scholarship Story '22

I graduated from the Bachelor’s Degree for Professionals in May 2022! It took many years to get to this point in my life. After many years of struggling and trying to stay consistent in my classes with many different colleges and working, I was finally able to do it here at Cal Lu! Staying consistent and the support I received from CLU made this possible.
I have always had to work to support my hardworking mother and never had the opportunity to give my undivided attention to my studies. During my time with CLU, I had many struggles such as the pandemic and losing my job, but I did not lose hope and did not lose my motivation because I always had the support to back me up and help lift me up.
I finally walked the stage, bachelor’s degree in hand, as a first-generation graduate and I am so honored that I can say I accomplished this goal with California Lutheran University. Thank you to all of CLU staff for always showing compassion!
