Fifty and Better is FAB!

I have been a teacher for 42 years, and one of the highlights of my teaching career is being with the FAB scholars! If there has been a silver lining around the cloud of the pandemic, it was to be able to interact with students via Zoom. I was fortunate to be called upon by Lisa Buono and Christina Tierney of the Cal Lutheran FAB program to offer classes online, and it has been a wonderful journey of meeting so many interesting people through these courses. I have said many times about teaching mature students, “I don’t have to explain who the Beatles are.” It is a joy to share experiences and knowledge, and I learn so much from those in the audience through their comments and questions.
