Fifty and Better is a Hidden Gem

FAB is a hidden gem to the community of over 50 adults. I have learned so much about different subjects since discovering FAB; I think I started in early 2020. I have taken various classes in art history, art fraud, architecture, music, and film/TV. The variety of classes is amazing. Every class has been interesting and sometimes surprising! I had no idea art fraud and forgery was such a huge problem, or that there are so many symbols in art and architecture. I have particularly enjoyed classes from Eleanor Schrader, Christine Maasdam, Matthew Weisman, Katherine Zoraster, Cary Ginell, and Sharon Boorstin. I don’t live in California; I live in a small town in Washington state, so I have no access to learning opportunities like this. Without FAB, COVID lockdown would have been unbearable. Even now that the lockdown has been lifted, I plan on continuing to take classes offered by FAB. Even though I have not met any of the instructors in person, I feel like I know them! Also the staff that supports this program are amazing; Christina Tierney and Lisa Buono are very supportive and responsive. One time I signed up for the same class twice and they caught it and refunded the extra payment before I even knew I had made that mistake! Thank you to FAB for offering this program to 50+ students
