As a mother and wife Cal Lutheran’s professionals bachelor program was a perfect fit for me and my family. Being a full-time student and a stay at home mom was not easy, but I did it! Being a first-generation student and Latina came with its challenges. I wasn’t sure if I was capable of completing what I had started but I had a great mentor to guide me through it all. Dr. Wright believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. She inspired me to continue on to graduate school. Being a graduate student during the pandemic has been hard, but not impossible to complete. I am excited to say, I will be graduating Spring of 2023!!! I can’t wait for what the future holds. I am grateful for Cal Lutheran, their professional undergraduate program, Dr. Wright, and my family. For those who are struggling, continue. You can do it!
