Students from Around the World – Kai

Meet Kai, who plays for the Cal Lu soccer team! He is an international student from the United Kingdom, studying exercise science.

“Cal Lu gave me the opportunity to play soccer and study the major I wanted. The coaches sold their program to me and their ambitions to do well every season inspired me to become a better player which made me want to come to Cal Lu. They also have a great athletics center and extraordinary facilities. In addition, it has a great exercise science program where we get the opportunity to learn in amazing laboratories taught by welcoming professors.
I have been able to experience many different cultural experiences in the US. I was able to experience my first thanksgiving and eat foods that I have never tried such as pumpkin pie. There is also a lot of warm weather and incredible beaches which is the complete opposite in England.”
