I have served as the pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Riverside since 2007. I loved my time at Cal Lu studying Greek with Dr. Fred Tonsing and Hebrew with Dr. Lamonte Luker preparing to be a pastor. After seminary, I got a second master’s degree in Old Testament (STM) in 2000 from Concordia seminary St. Louis, which has enabled me to teach as an theology adjunct professor at Concordia University Irvine continuously since 2002. Recently, I also finished my doctor of ministry degree (D.Min.) from Gateway seminary in Ontario, CA, in December 2020. My doctoral paper, “Reaching the Next Generation for Christ at Faith Lutheran Church: Developing Peer-Based Conversational Evangelism with and for Millennials and Gen Z,” received the Will Edd and Lila Fae Langford Award for Outstanding Doctor of Ministry Project Report.
