Fifty and Better (FAB)

I joined FAB because after retiring I needed the stimulation provided by university quality classes. I simply did not need the aggravation of tests and term papers. After 45 years of working as a city and regional planner including 2 years in the Peace Corps in Morocco I was not ready to sit in a recliner and watch television reruns. Instead, among other activities, I attend FAB classes.
The FAB classes help me plan my next trip or reminisce about places my wife and I have visited. We returned from the Galápagos and Machu Picchu as the pandemic closed the world. Our next trip is to Iceland and Greenland.
I enjoy serving on the FAB Advisory Committee. The Committee discusses proposed classes, instructors and FAB activities. The Committee members are treated with respect and our opinions are considered in creating new programs and offering recommendations on classes and activities.
