My niece Jasmine, had so many choices when it came to selecting a university. She chose CLU, and not just because I am an alumnus and taught there. She felt that it was the best fit for her values, life, and future career. This amazing young woman works for the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, while carrying an often full course load. She has been such a help to me and our family as we navigate the declining health of her grandmother, and my mother. She has provided resources to help not only us, but countless others find the resources that are critical to caring for aging parents. She is a beautiful soul who cares and is a tremendous fit for a university that cares. #CalLutheranCares
