As a high school senior looking at colleges, I wanted to find a place that felt like a home away from home. When I first came to Cal Lutheran that is exactly how I felt. Whether it was the location of Cal Lutheran or the people I met but, as soon as I arrived I knew this was where I needed to be. Ever since those first days as a freshman, Cal Lutheran has given me so many great opportunities to grow as a young adult. When it came to roommates, teammates, and friends, Cal Lutheran gave me my forever people. It allowed to branch out of my comfort zone and expand my views, which allowed me to meet new people and excel to the best of my abilities. Either on the court or in the classroom, I have every resource and mentor at my grasp that are ready to help me achieve where I want to go. Without Cal Lutheran, I would have not met some of my best friends, learned new perspectives on life, been given the opportunity to continue playing basketball, or been a part of something as special as being a Regal!
