Alumni Helping Alumni

I have had the honor of serving as a coach, instructor and administrator at Cal Lutheran University. During this time I have witnessed students and alumni who have donated their time and talent for undeserved youth, Special Olympics, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to mention a few programs. I have witnessed athletes helping to pay teammates tuition, volunteering at local schools, volunteering at food banks, donating meals, collecting food for the needy, volunteering and working in foundations for a host of causes and much, much, more.
For me the gift of education offers students a meaningful, reflective process that guides them to find ways to make a positive difference on behalf of others. California Lutheran University provides this service learning opportunity for students and in return the students give back to others. It is an attribute that has a ripple effect far beyond material things and is embedded in hearts.
I am very proud to be a part of the loving, caring community that is CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY.
