When I first stepped on Cal Lutheran campus in 1983, I was struck by the sense of community that seemed to emanate from, well, everywhere and everyone. What I couldn’t know was how that community would be the beginning of an amazing family.
The friends I made in my 4 years at CLU have become my family. From the 2 students, who are now guardians to my children, to the beautiful student who is now my wife…from the faculty members who were in attendance at my wedding (at the Chapel , of course!) to the current faculty members who now are shepherding both of my children thru the Cal Lutheran university experience.
In the years since graduation, I have stayed involved with Cal Lutheran almost non-stop. Never from a sense of obligation, rather from a sense of …family.
In this time of uncertainty, your CLU family is there for you. Reach out to help, reach out for help, stay involved, stay in contact.
Family is the key.
