Dra. Fiore and Dra. Wigginton

I credit a majority of my success to Dra. Fiore and Dra. Wigginton. I remember taking the Spanish placement exam during my freshman year and Dra. Wigginton asking me if I considered taking on a Spanish double major. As a wide-eyed freshman, I lingered on that thought and ended up claiming that double major the following semester. Throughout my undergraduate career at Cal Lutheran, Dra. Fiore and Dra. Wigginton enlightened me with their knowledge and passion for the Spanish language and culture. When I began to apply for graduate programs, they generously met with me countless times to craft my personal statements, portfolio and present myself as the best candidate for the programs. They have always been extremely supportive as I ventured into this new and emerging field of bilingual marketing. Now being an alum and staff member, I am always eager to share my experience with their classes and help the program grow. Their passion for Spanish is contagious and admirable, and I am very lucky to be a result of their education!
