Leslie Madrigal '20
Submitted by Monica Madrigal '10
Today I am not writing as a staff member or alumni, but a proud sister. A sister to a graduating Senior. Leslie began her journey at Cal Lutheran back in 2002 when we came to drop off our older brother for his freshman orientation.
In 2016, Leslie committed to Cal Lutheran and has been fortunate to have had so many opportunities over the last four years. She is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Ethnic Studies. During her time at Cal Lutheran she worked both on-campus and off-campus. She also held internships through Safe Passage and the Boys and Girls Club. Leslie will be starting her Masters Program in Public Policy and Administration this fall also at Cal Lutheran. In the future she wants to work for a non-profit that works with underprivileged youth.
Thanks to Cal Lutheran, the Madrigal Siblings are proud to be First Generation College Graduates and are thankful that Cal Lutheran helped them discover their purpose. #CalLutheranCares #trioworks
