Cal Lutheran’s Jostens Representative
Submitted by Clinton Oie
Our Jostens rep, James, has risen to the current challenge of getting regalia out to our students during pandemic social distancing protocols. Because the Jostens factory that produces our regalia is now short staffed and half of their production has been retooled to produce much needed masks, regalia has been delayed. In order to care for our students and bring some happiness to their commencement moment of accomplishment, James had all of our orders delivered to his home, where he and some helpers (practicing social distancing) are processing regalia in order to get it to our students as soon as possible. In the midst of all of the delays and confusion surrounding regalia, our students have shown so much compassion, flexibility and care for our Campus Store staff, it does my heart good, and strengthens my faith and belief in our wonderful community. Thank you James at Jostens, Campus Store staff, and our amazing students and supportive community!
