It was the beginning of January of 2020. A girl was filling out her college applications, and she got a letter in the mail from California Lutheran University for a free application. So, she decided to fill the application out and see what would happen. After filling it out she went and looked up what the school was looking for. She had everything except the ACT score. So, she was for sure that she wasn’t getting in just because of how far her score was from the required score. She spent her days worrying and just knowing she would get accepted. Until one day in the beginning of March she got a letter from California Lutheran University. She opened it and read it and was so surprised by what it said. She got excepted for the spring of 2021. This was best thing that has happened so far this year. That girl was me, Allyson Rufus. I’m the person who is so excited to be joining this University and being able to get my degree in criminology and criminal justice by an amazing school.
