Print+: Sameness & Otherness in Contemporary Print Media

Print+: Sameness & Otherness in Contemporary Print Media

Print+ emphasizes the significance of showcasing artwork within an inclusive, diverse environment. Artists from different backgrounds and intersecting identities will present works of protest and resistance that incorporate elements of printmaking: inks, matrices, paper, equipment and the print itself. The resulting artwork encompasses a range of forms, including 2D and 3D objects; time-based videos and performances; hospital gowns and quilts; and items from handkerchiefs to photographs. Each piece tells a unique story, reflecting the diverse experiences and perspectives of the participating artists. Curated by Sheila Goloborotko, Print+ has been exhibited at the Henderson Art Museum and MOCA Jacksonville, celebrating art as a powerful vehicle for protest and resistance.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The galleries are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
