Auschwitz Exhibit Tour at the Ronald Reagan Library

Fifty and Better invites you to the Auschwitz Exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. As a follow-up to his two-part lecture on Auschwitz, Jason Hensley will take a group of students through the self-guided exhibit. The tour is open to all FAB students. Spaces are limited to the first 50 registrants. After the first 50 students, you can be added to the waitlist. Entrance to the Auschwitz Exhibit is $29.95. All attendees will need to sign a liability waiver ahead of the tour. Waivers will be available at both Thousand Oaks and Oxnard campuses (a follow-up email with details will be sent following your registration). Transportation will not be provided for this activity; parking is free for everyone at the Presidential Library, carpooling is encouraged.

For the first time in history, an exhibition co-produced by the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and Spanish company Musealia, is traveling to the main capital cities of the world to show an extraordinary collection of more than 700 original exhibits of inestimable historic and human value, that bears direct witness to one of the darkest chapters of humankind.

Jason Hensley, PhD, teaches religious studies at a private school in Los Angeles. He is a fellow of the Michael LaPrade Holocaust Education Institute of the Anti-Defamation League, a member of Civic Spirit's teacher education cohort, and the award-winning author of 10 books. His work has been featured in The Huffington Post as well as the BBC, and he has served as the historical advisor for a Holocaust documentary.

The Fifty and Better (FAB) program was designed for people 50 and older seeking intellectual stimulation through university level courses (without the pressure of grades) for the sake of learning and social engagement.
