5K Run/Walk with President Varlotta

President Lori E. Varlotta invites alumni, families, students, faculty, staff and friends to kick off inauguration week with a Cal Lutheran Presidential 5K run, walk, roll and stroll on our beautiful campus in Thousand Oaks. 

Whether you are looking for a new 5K personal record or you just want to walk through our beautiful campus with your Cal Lutheran community, this course is for you. Each participant will get to enjoy a Cal Lutheran gift, music, photos and food following the race.

Race day schedule:

• 9 a.m.: Registration and warm up
• 9:45 a.m.: Opening remarks
• 10 a.m.: Race starts
• 11 a.m.: Closing ceremony and festivities 

Adult participants will receive a Cal Lutheran wide-mouth bottle. Participants under 12 will receive Cal Lutheran sunglasses.

Race prices:

Early-bird (through Jan. 31):

• Adult: $10
• Current Cal Lutheran students: $5; first 20 students to sign up are FREE*
• Children under 12: Free

Pre-order (Feb. 1-8):

• Adult: $15
• Current Cal Lutheran students: $10
• Children under 12: Free

Day of event:

• Adult: $20
• Current Cal Lutheran students: $15
• Children under 12: Free
