Rocket Men: The Daring Odyssey of Apollo 8 and the Astronauts Who Made Man's First Journey to the Moon, by Robert Kurson
Scholars discuss the historical context and the science behind the daring odyssey of Apollo 8 around the moon and back. Panelists include Cal Lutheran President Chris Kimball (History), Professor Mary Oksala (Physics) and Michael H. Gorn, a historian of aeronautics and author of Spacecraft: 100 Iconic Rockets, Shuttles, and Satellites That Put Us in Space.
