Timothy P. Schultz
Service to Alma Mater
Timothy P. Schultz ’77 was honored with the Encore Award (having recieved his first Service to Alma Mater award in 1980). He graduated from CLU with a bachelor’s degree in business management. As director of engineering at the Univision Television Group, he oversees 11 chief engineers for television stations across the nation. Tim was instrumental in paving the way for KCLU 88.3 FM, a National Public Radio Station and community service of CLU. In the winter 1995 issue of CLU Magazine, he was featured for his nearly 20 years of volunteer service to the University. Without him, KCLU never would have happened!
As a student Tim was the first station engineer for KRCL, CLU’s former cablecast station. In 1995, he served as station engineer for KCLU, maintained the television studio on campus and taught in the Communication Arts Department. Now, Tim is Director of Engineering at Univision Holdings Inc. in Los Angeles.
