Camerata Amistad is a versatile, three-member chamber ensemble particularly dedicated to the performance of folk, art and popular music from the Hispanic world. Formed in 2006, the group has been featured at music festivals, conferences, artist series and U.S. Embassy events.

The members, Cathy Collinge Herrera, Diane Gold Toulson and Brent Register, have all enjoyed extensive, international careers with solo and orchestral performances.

While a Fulbright scholar in Peru, Collinge Herrera was principal flutist with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional for two years and founder of the Festivales Internacionales de Flautistas.

In addition to appearances at famous venues in New York City and Washington, D.C., Gold Toulson has performed on the flute and taught master classes in the Netherlands, Spain and Argentina.

A professor of music at Clarion University in Pennsylvania, Register teaches flute, oboe, bassoon, early and contemporary music history, and performs on guitar.

Admission is free.
