Interfaith Allies Hunger Banquet

The Hunger Banquet is an event we are hosting on campus,  to raise awareness for global poverty and hunger as well as encourage action to end hunger in our local community. We are inviting the entire CLU community to participate as well as local community groups/organizations. For this event we are using the tools provided by Oxfam America, an organization which works to end poverty and injustice. It is very important to us that our guests leave with a better understanding of global poverty but are also informed about ways they can get involved in their own community. We want to encourage action by providing them with contacts and tools during the eye-opening Hunger Banquet experience.
