About AJ:
AJ Abdallat is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in high-tech startups. He has over 20 years of management experience in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), smart sensors & systems, life sciences, environmental monitoring, process control, energy, finance and homeland security. Mr. Abdallat founded, launched and ran several spin-off companies from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech)/NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He has raised over $100 million in venture and strategic investment.
Currently Mr. Abdallat is the CEO of Beyond Limits, a company he co-founded with Caltech. Beyond Limits, based in California, specializes in the development of products and services based on advanced artificial intelligence & bio-inspired reasoning systems to generate reliable decision-support information and insight in critical applications where solution speed and confidence is of the utmost importance. The company focuses on embedded intelligence & M2M systems, intelligent agents, media, content & telecom; smart mobile applications & platforms; next-generation search engines for mobile platforms; and mobile health & life sciences.
